Connect Claude to Gravitask
Add Gravitask as a custom connector in Claude on the web or in the desktop app. Sign in once with OAuth, choose a workspace, and Claude can plan, triage and report on your work. No API keys required.
Set up in four steps

Open the connector settings
In Claude on the web, click your initials in the bottom left, then Settings > Connectors. In the Claude desktop app the same list lives under Settings > Connectors. You need a Claude plan that supports custom connectors (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise).

Add Gravitask as a custom connector
Click Add custom connector, name it Gravitask, and paste the server URL: https://app.gravitask.com/mcp. Claude discovers the rest automatically, so there is nothing else to fill in.

Authorise with your Gravitask account
Claude opens the Gravitask consent screen. Sign in if you are not already, pick the workspace you want Claude to work in, and tick Read-only access if you only want Claude to read and report. Click Authorise and you are returned to Claude.

Enable the connector in a chat
In any conversation, open the search and tools menu and switch Gravitask on. Claude can now see your projects, tasks, wiki and reports. Try asking: "What is on my plate this week in Gravitask?"
What you approve on the consent screen
The Gravitask authorisation screen puts you in control before Claude gets any access:
- Workspace picker: the connection is bound to ONE workspace you choose. Claude can never see your other workspaces.
- Read-only toggle: tick it and Claude can browse, search and report but never create, change or delete anything.
- Revoke any time: workspace admins can disconnect Claude in one click from Settings > Integrations > MCP > Connected apps.

Good to know
Plans and permissions
MCP is included on every Gravitask plan with unlimited agent actions (fair use applies on Free). Your workspace admin controls the overall permission level and can disable individual tools, so a tool Claude cannot see may simply be switched off for your workspace.
Using Claude Code or an IDE instead?

Authorisation loops or a blank consent screen?
Make sure you are signed in to Gravitask at app.gravitask.com in the same browser, then remove and re-add the connector. You must belong to at least one workspace before authorising.
